Private Event~Father/Son Survival Workshop Series

During this series, cohorts of fathers and sons will take to the wild to learn essential aspects of wilderness survival, deepen connections and intimacy with each other, and develop a profound sense of self belonging in the world. From mauka (mountain) to makai (sea) all workshops in the series operate in the beautiful and wild Kona district on the west side of Hawai’i Island. The practices of the Core Routine of Deep Nature Connection will guide us on this adventure to explore the vast landscapes of our outer and inner worlds!

Workshop 1 - Food Harvesting and Firemaking, Sunday April 24: 

In this first workshop, fathers and sons will learn the basics of Deep Nature Connection. Learn to identify edible plant species of West Hawai’i, and best practices for wild harvesting.
